Who are you?

We show up in different parts of our lives as a version of ourselves.

You might find that you wear a different ‘mask’ at work to fit in with the people there or in line with the company culture.

You might have a completely different identity outside of work where you feel more at ease to show up as the real you.

Or maybe you’ve spent so long fitting into different life situations that you don’t really know who ‘you’ is anymore.

You might also be in a situation where something fundamental has changed in your life or work, and this has changed how you view yourself and your place in the world. What you previously relied upon to give you a strong sense of identity and purpose no longer exists, and you’re left feeling lost and you don’t know what to do next.

Having a strong sense of identity and purpose is linked to having increased mental and physical well-being. When you enjoy what you do, and it feels in alignment with who you are, it contributes to your sense of self-worth and fuels optimism and hope.

It doesn’t matter whether your career is employed work, self-employed, volunteering, caring, or something else entirely, the important thing is that is it something that you feel passionate about and lights you up.

5 ways that hypnotherapy and coaching can help:

  • Connect with your subconscious mind, step outside of the labels, boxes and expectations, and get a sense of who the real you is and what lights you up.
  • Get clarity on what is important to you, your values and your unique offering to the world.
  • Rediscover and explore the parts of you that have been left behind because they didn’t align with past experiences and people, and learn how to integrate them back into your life.
  • Explore different options in your work and life, at both a conscious and subconscious level, so you can focus on what feels right for you without the pressure of other people’s (or society’s) views.
  • Reduce and release your fears and anxieties, and increase your confidence to make changes, speak up for yourself, hold strong boundaries and achieve your goals in a you-shaped way.
